Privacy policy

With the entry into force of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Ágora – Cultura e Desporto do Porto, E.M., SA, hereinafter referred to as Ágora, reinforced the Privacy Policy of all those with whom it interacts.
In strict compliance with the law, and with the continuous concern for transparency and impartiality, it has introduced new security practices and has improved procedures in order to ensure the pursuit of the public interest in its operating areas. 
The protection of citizens in regards to the treatment of Personal Data is a fundamental right, so their privacy is important to our company. Therefore, we intend to clarify what Personal Data we collect, for what purposes it is used, what principles guide their use and what rights citizens/holder of this Data have.
In the case of the web platform and mobile app Desporto365, the goal is to allow an updated characterization of the entire sports park of the city of Porto, namely, in terms of its infrastructures, clubs/institutions and modalities.
The Municipality of Porto, via Ágora, secures the right to the protection of personal data collected, under the General Regulation on Data Protection, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, concerning the protection of individuals on the processing of personal data and on the portability of such data (GDPR) and other applicable legislation;
The processing of this data by the Municipality of Porto is intended to promote the city's sports facilities to the general public and will be carried out by Ágora, a municipal company whose mission is to promote, foster and encourage the regular practice of physical activity and sports in the city.
Personal Data collected from clubs and associations will be treated in strict compliance with current legal regimes, in particular, Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Ágora ensures that the processing of your Personal Data is carried out within the scope of the purpose(s) for which they were collected or for purposes compatible with the initial purpose(s) for which they were collected. 
It also assumes the commitment to implement a culture of data minimization, in which it only collects, uses and retains Personal Data strictly necessary for the development of its activity and the satisfaction of citizens' interests. 
Agora does not disclosure or share Personal Data for commercial or marketing purposes.
The data holder is granted access to information directly concerning them, and the holder is entitled to request its modification or erasure, by means of personal or written contact with the data controller.
All data provided will be treated confidentially by all parties involved and in compliance with the data protection legislation in force.
